Each member of the Equity-Alerts team has been trading the financial markets for over 20+ years. They each began as position traders and then started honing their skills as active traders of stocks, options, futures and currencies as trading tools became available for individual investors. While working at Wizetrade, a provider of momentum based trading tools, Kipp Cohen met Jim Channell, Lindsey Perry and Stephen Beilby. They were all trading together in Wizetrade's live trading room, focused on actively trading stocks and options.

In 2014 Jim and Lindsey started Equity-Alerts.com so they could share their success with the rest of the trading world. In 2018 Kipp Cohen joined the Equity-Alerts team as a partner and Chief Equities Strategist, sharing his knowledge of actively trading stocks and futures. Later that year Stephen Beilby joined the Equity-Alerts team as a contributor, sharing his insight into options trading 3 hours a week. Using their skills of actively trading the markets, great trading tools and an easy-to-use website, the team was able to develop a business that helps many traders achieve their investing goals.
