Kipp’s Biography

Kipp Cohen is the Chief Equities Strategist and co-owner of Equity-Alerts.com, hosting our daily financial webinar and providing equity alerts. Prior to joining Equity-Alerts.com, Kipp was the Chief Equities Strategist for Wizetrade Stocks and then the Senior Market Strategist for a division of Ally Invest. With over 20 years of equities trading experience, Kipp has developed a keen sense for finding great day trades. Combined with his money management skills and discipline, Kipp has been able to help traders find winning trades for over 18 years. In addition to trading stocks, Kipp has experience trading futures, currencies, and options.

Over the past 19 years Kipp has taught thousands of investors many of his favorite day trading strategies, including his Poppers and Droppers strategy, Fill the Gap, Fade the Gap, Reverse the Burst and Trade the Range. Kipp has helped investors develop their trading plan and gain a better understanding of money management. He is well versed in many trading platforms but now prefers to keep things simple using his own indicator, Clear Lines along with candlesticks, pivot points and Fibonacci levels.

For over 7 years, Kipp was a regular contributor for two online financial TV networks (Traders Television Network & WizetradeTV) as well as a nationally syndicated radio talk show (Wizetrade Live). Kipp was also a regularly appearing teacher/speaker at WizeFEST, a national investor’s convention attended by 1000’s of traders.

Kipp Graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BBA in General Business. He is a native of Dallas, Texas and is happily married to his wife Andi. Kipp is the father of a grown son Jacob and two rescue dogs. Outside of the investing world, Kipp is an avid player of Texas Hold’em with ambitions to play in the World Series of Poker main event.
